Hot on the heels of the Project BM! (Bandai x Medicom) Kamen Rider Hibiki, the upgrade form Hibiku Kurenai as well as regular, untransformed Hibiki are in the works! No word yet on whether one or both are exclusives, but I would bet on it since the Project BM! FIRSTy Kamen Rider 2 was only available if you bought Rider 1 and sent in the special mail-in slip (Medicom loves doing this kind of thing; more often than not figures have an accompanying slip needed to purchase special mail-aways.) I would guess that either one or both can only be obtained by buying the regular Kamen Rider Hibiki figure (most likely), or you need to get Kurenai in order to get you own scaled-down Hosokawa Shigeki. Good luck if you plan on trying to get these, check out the pic:
And now for something that should be a little easier to obtain: the first prototypes of the upcomign Kamen Rider Ultimate Solid Part 3 are here! The first two sets of these bigger, more detailed Gashapon figures were pretty sweet, and #3 looks like it'll continue that trend.Riderman and Stronger are clearly visible, the other three are only shown from the back, but they're pretty clearly Kuuga and the FIRSTy Double Riders. Can't wait for this one!
Alright! Shigeki Hosokawa figures! Now my shrine can be complete!
ReplyDeleteA Kamen Rider all red? Well... sure is good, but i don't like it. Reminds me too much of Ultraman. If the character was more gold/blue...
ReplyDeleteKamen Rider Ghost
KR Ghost...then Ibuki is right up your alley! Black, blue and gold...with a trumpet! :)
ReplyDeleteA trumpet? My god! Is Louis Armstrong with superpowers? :P
ReplyDeleteActually, i know very little about Hibiki & Friends. Somewhere i have read what the series is hatred for someones, loved by some others, and all the people is searching for the bikes in the series, what in a forgotten forum someone has called "Kamen Walker".
Kamen Rider Ghost
Indeed KR Ghost, the show should not have been called a Kamen Rider in the first place. Radically different, it should have been a new franchise...but it's so hard to take a risk, eh?
ReplyDeleteA new franchise? Sounds good to have some new heroes. A risk in the TV bussiness is alwaus hard (here in Spain the Tv is, well, is 300% crap, and is going worse day by day just for no take any risk :(
ReplyDeleteAnd the tokusatsu shows... well, zero, nothing is aired here. Only a few anime series (Naruto, for example, is aired in a satellite channel here).
I'm veery jealous of you guys! ;)
