-Dark Kabuto stuff is here! The Bandai RHK figure and the DX Henshin Belt are out, if you're thinking of getting those. The big Perfect Zecter sword thingy set is also out there.
-Coming in the latter half of December, the fifth and final set of Sôchaku-Henshin EX Mirror Monsters gives us exactly what we're expecting: two R&M repaints (Venosnaker and Dragblacker) and the all-new Blanwing. Check out the pic:
I never did get the R&M Ryuga, so that's really two new figures, plus Venosnaker looks to have improved deco over the old version, who, like R&M Ouja, was a rather bright purple.
-Coming in March 2007, it's the Kamen Rider Mask Collection 3. If you haven't been following this series, it's basically boxed scaled-down versions of various Kamen Rider masks. The first two sets were pretty cool, and the third one looks to continue that trend. The line-up this time:

Randomly-inserted light-up variants (usually one per case) also exist, basically there's a light in the stand/base so when you push down on the mask, the eyes light up.

ReplyDeleteA Kamen Rider Kuuga Complete Selection Belt is coming soon as well (March 2007), and the sculpt looks very impressive. I sure hope they continue this series. I wonder if they'll continue on to Agito or perhaps they'll take turns from old to new and vice versa...
The merchandising reminds a doubt what i have since i have seen for the first time a Kamen Rider. ¿Is Honda the company what give the bikes for the series?

ReplyDeleteI have the Complete Selection Ryuki V-Buckle and (of course) the Rider 1 Typhoon Belt, and they are great! I'd definitely get X-Rider, Skyrider and BLACK belts if they ever get to them, although I *may* go broke then.
KR Ghost, yeah, Honda has been the primary provider of the bikes for the last few series. Suzuki used to be the primary provider, but even back then there were odds and ends: Some alternate versions of the old Cyclones were based off of Honda bikes, and of course Super-1 is famous for having a Harley-Davidson.
Mmm, a KR Black belt would be fantastic. They could simply recolor to Shadow Moon specifications and the die-hards would still get them (I know I would)!
