This guy, who should be appearing in the next episode, reveals that Den-O will, for a change, be going back further than 2000. Yeah, 1997 isn't much to get excited about, but c'mon, it's 10 years ago- back in a time when, believe it or not, there were less than 20 Riders total. A bazillion now, but back then, it was just the the first 10, BLACK/RX (if you count them as seperate entities; it's 4 total if you count Robo & Bio sepeately) and the 3 movie guys. And that, my friends, seems like a long time ago to me.
And then there's this guy:
The lack of any date is interesting. Maybe we'll finally have a major villain who survives the initial encounter and instead has to be chased across time and battled in several years (the watch man, maybe?)

ReplyDeleteNow, even though 10 years ago doesn't seem like much, I just hope they don't cop out with a scene in a nondescript place.
Now there's a change. Off-topic: you seem to update this blog more than your site!
ReplyDeleteWell, the original idea was that the blog *is* part of the site, replacing the pages that need to be updated more constantly (like News, etc.) and are quicker to do.
ReplyDeleteI update the site proper when I get the chance, which isn't as often as I'd like, but hey- the summer is only a few months away.
Hrmm. Dunno if any of these guys will be epic/recurring villains, they're too bland looking. The "no date" one is probably just a non-show card used to round out the deck. After all, they won't have many cards to sell if they just use show guys, being a 50-ish episode series and most monsters stick around for two episodes, so you figure they'd have like 25-30 Imajin give or take which is hardly enough for a card collection thing.
