The Itsy Bitsy Spider

Okay. So I did get to the even in Tokyo, and that was followed by a pretty crazy week, but I will be posting all about that (with pictures!) this week, as well as talking about Kiva #16~26, and some other stuff. Stay tuned!

Give those Spoilers back to God!

What? What!? WHAT!?

Kamen Rider Kiva Episode #26: "Metronome: Miraculous Memory"

"You're... Yuri."

Otoya falls into Maya's arms.

"Help me... Yuri."

Meanwhile, the real Yuri wonders where Otoya is.

2008. Kivat and Wataru talk about Mio, who still weighs heavy on our hero's mind. Where has she gone?

Mio runs into Bishop again, who tells her she can't escape her destiny. Despite her pleas about loving humans, he warns her that if she herself takes up a renegade existence, she will have to be destroyed. Of course, there's more going on here than we think...

Nago talks with Shima, who takes the loss of IXA in stride, but is personally upset with Nago himself. He mentions the search for a new IXA user (once they presumably get it back. A real optimist, that Shima.)

Itoya/Spider Fangire (hereafter known as "Spider" because I'm lazy) is stalking Megumi again. Bishop appears, asking what he's up to. He wants Spider to eliminate the traitorous Queen. Spider promises to do so in exchange for Megumi. Bishop vows to make Queen see the error or her ways by any means necessary. Or does he? Again, there's a trick to all this which comes in later.

1986. Maya & Otoya are stil in each other's arms when Rook shows up. Otoya hoofs it, and the big guy is about to give chase, but she orders Rook to stand down. Announcing that the game is over, Maya has a new interest... finding out the meaning of love. Bow-chika-wow-wow.

2008. Mio is about to kill half of a young couple (the dude is a Fangire) but he asks for her pity. Realizing she can't go through with it, she relinquishes, and lets them run. But Bishop is there, and he does Queen's job, blasting them away with a great blue blast. Mio seems to get caught in the crossfire, but for some reason, turns up to be in Wataru's house. Well, whatever works.

1986. Maya hands Otoya his violin. She asks if he can remember anything. He takes it up and begins playing magnificently.

2008. Wataru does the same for a sleeping Mio.

1986. Whilsts playing, Otoya remembers his conversation last time with Yuri, discussing the ring. He remembers the promise.

2008. Mio awakens. At first she thinks Wataru doesn't want to see her anymore, but he states he just wants to become stronger, and protect her. He leaves to get her some water, but finds her gone.

At the beach, Otoya & Maya go looking for the ring. Otoya removes his watch (from the real Yuri) and a rose, and wades into the water. Maya notes what strange people these humans are. The real Yuri shows up, looking for Otoya. Maya asks if she's Yuri. Thank God it wasn't somebody else or the next few scenes might have been really awkward.

2008. Wataru searches for Mio, who is being stalked by Spider Fangire (climbing upside down in a tree.) He jumps down and begins to change as Bishop watches on, revealing his true intent: He wants to "see Queen's true power." In other words, by using Spider Fangire as a pawn, he wants to unleash the inner Queen within Mio, and set her on the correct path of being a renegade-destroyin' evil lady. What a clever bastard!

But before that plan can go anywhere, Megumi appears, distracting Spider. Nago also shows up to take back his belt, but Spider pushes him away and transforms.

"Henshin!"

1986. Maya & Yuri talk about love while Otoya searchs for the ring. Yuri sees him surface and runs in after him as he begins to drown while clawing away at the sea floor...

Otoya is reawakened on the beach. He now recognizes the real Yuri, and what's more, he's found the ring! Maya watches all this with great interest.

"Humans really are interesting life-forms." Ah, the romance...

2008. Nago and IXA duke it out, but the Rider easily trounces his former user. When

Megumi asks for him to stop, he does, and gets so wrapped up in her words that he forgets all about Mio and Nago and all that. Watch as IXA dances around and uses the hand puppets. Megumi mentions her love of strong men, and offers him a kiss. But she just uses it as a chance to kick Spider in the nuts and take back the IXA belt. Because he's not her type.

Spider freaks out as Nago transforms into IXA.

"Henshin!"

IXA savagely attacks Spider, who doesn't even get to transform to Fangire mode. Given what happens soon, I guess the actor wanted to go all-out in this one.

Wataru searches for Mio, but Spider appears, full of rage. He blames it all on... well I think Mio, or possibly Wataru, or maybe both. Either way he's nuttier than ever and he transforms into Fangire mode. Wataru realizes he can't transform in front of Mio, so he takes it on the chin and is knocked away. Screaming for them to stop, Mio begins to transform into her Queen mode, causing Spider to run in fear... only to find Kiva.

Kiva summons Tatsulot, and goes to Emperor Form.

Kiva beats up the monster easily. Using the Garulu Fever, he summons the Saber (which now has Tatsulot attached to the bottom of it.) He rockets up into the air and performs a massive downward slash. Spider Fangire falls back into the water and explodes.

Nago goes to meet with Shima, and breaks down in tears. He takes the IXA Knuckle, and prepares to hand it back to Shima. His heart is heavy with sorrow and shame at his own weakness. But Shima says it's unnecessary. He wants Nago to fulfill his true potential, through IXA. Nago looks like a creepy @#$%er in this scene. Probably because he knows what's coming next episode.

Spider survived! His clothes in tatters, he stumbles up to the shore, where Mio waits.

She sees ones of his photographs of Megumi, and asks if he loves a human woman. She announces that his night has come. Spider is completely blown away by Mio's attack, leaving only the picture of Megumi...

Meanwhile, the Imagin have hijacked the Go-Onger bus, and take some time to talk about the upcoming Go-Onger movie. watch for a sneak appearance by Kamen Rider Rey (who has a pony tail!?) Okay so this isn't part of the actual show proper. But coming right after that last scene? Big switch in tone there.

NEXT TIME: The cops are after everybody! Even Shima. Naturally, Nago is fighting with them. Also, the debut of Rising IXA.
