The first pics of the real suit are in! Check out this thread over at Thai-Toku (dial-up folks be warned, several large-size images) for scans from the latest mags of the main man's Sword Form, which seems to be his default form as well. Den-O's alter ego is named Nogami Ryôtarô. Also, nice to see there will be regular human-sized monsters as well as giant ones (who do battle with the DenLiner, apparently.)
Also, the prototypes of the Garren, Chalice, Joker (who I believe shares a body with Chalice, with swappable parts) and Leangle SIC figures are out as well! Check them out:
Den-O looks better and better with each shot... not sure about the eyes though but I'm certain I will warm up to them.

I got them from one of the usual Japanese image boards I haunt, but ShadowRider over at Henshin Justice was cool and also posted 'em along with some other customs (female Hibiki Riders!) that appeared in Hobby Japan magazine are are not collected in the upcoming "S.I.C. Super Collection Volume 2", here:

Whoa, more Hibiki SIC!! I think the SIC style is very well suited to the Onis. I'm gonna get all of them!! They, even have Akira's oni form. Sweet!!

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, the Oni shown there are, as far as I know, just customs created for Hobby Japan magazine. Maybe they'll see an actual release someday, but for the time being, nada.
ReplyDeleteStill not a huge fan of the new look...but hopefully the story will make up for it...magically :P Still not sure about the train idea, but we'll just have to wait!
ReplyDeleteThe bad guys are called Imagine, who can grant you a wish in exchange for one wish. Interesting idea, somewhat like the Devil granting wishes for your soul.
