Kamen Rider Gills vs. Another Agito! Now, I love Gills as much as, if not more than, the next person, and the Gills Heel Claw is one of my favorite moves in a long time. But I have to laugh every time I watch the scene when they first face off, if only because Another Agito demonstrates the seemingly-obvious way to counter Gills' attack.
You just step back and kick him.

I don't remember if Gills could breathe underwater...but Kamen Riders have traditionally been awesome underwater fighters.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure how exactly they settled on "Gills", but yeah, I always thought it had to do with the Ashihara-was-a-swimmer connection too.
I dunno if this is true, but I heard Agito can mean "gills" in Japanese too.

I remember Agito did the same before Gills and Another Agito faced off.
