The Samurai Sentai Shinkenger/Kamen Rider Decade double-bill has taken the #1 spot at the box office following its weekend debut on 8/8! Knocking down Harry Potter and Pokemon to #2 & #3, which is no small feat. Looks like nostalgia does indeed sell.
Even if it just passes through at the top place (given how quickly movies rise and fall here, unless they're by Ghibli) that's still some great news.
