Toys 'R Us Japan is now offering a special edition of the Kamen Rider Den-O Sôchaku-Henshin figures via its website: as opposed to eash individual form having a seperate figure like in the regular releases, this version has one base body figure and includes the armor for Plat, Sword, Rod, Axe & Gun forms.
Some additional changes had to be made for this figure to work. Now, there's interchangeable thigh armor (which simply involved different coats of paint on the legs of the regular releases.) The armored parts are also extra shiny with a more metallic finish (although as a result, the standard release ones look a bit more true to the actual costumes, and this exclusive is more in line with wacky stuff like the famous Golden Sôchaku-Henshin Shining Agito.) Still, it's pretty neat to get all of Den-O's five original forms in one go. Now if they'd just make Wing Form a general release...

Seems cool. And if we become bored, we can merge the pieces of various forms :P Maybe create the Ploeaxe form (i know, is crazy :P)
