C.O.R.E. Four

As you might imagine, in the time that has elapsed since the last update of any significance on the IKRB, I have managed to score some new stuff which I'll be talking about later this week, including a few recent CD releases that most people probably downloaded anyway, and what may be one of the most self-congratulatory Sôchaku-Henshin sets ever.

One thing that isn't so new, but I ended up re-collecting any way because they're cheap, plentiful, and awesome: the Rider H.G.C.O.R.E. figures (High Grade Collectionfigure Of Real Entertainment... yes, that's the real name.) I will be reviewing the current 3 C.O.R.E. sets in due time, and all future sets (along with spin-offs like the Ultimate Solid & Action Pose sets), but for the moment, let's jump ahead to the very near future, to a set that's slated to be released very soon. As in, like, a couple days from now: Kamen Rider H.G.C.O.R.E. Part 4


The line-up this time is heavily concentrated on Kamen Rider THE NEXT and Kamen Rider Den-O, with one very significant classic villain in the mix. They are as follows:

-Kamen Rider V3 (NEXTy edition)
-Kamen Rider 1 (2 versions, FIRSTy & NEXTy editions)
-Chainsaw-Lizard (2 versions, one of which sports a big honkin' chainsaw!*)
-Kamen Rider Den-O Climax Form
-Kamen Rider Den-O Liner Form
-Gani-Koumoru

So, 8 figures in total. As with the previous 3 sets, Part 4 will continue the high-level of detail, clear/extra parts, and incredible ability to make characters we already have exciting again (this will probably be like, the billionth FIRSTy-style Rider 1 I will own.)

Expect much ado about this set when I finally get it. H.G.C.O.R.E. has thus far been a smash hit with me, so I have hight hopes yet again.

*No, I don't think we'll be seeing a super-secret buck-naked version as the "This film is rated PG-12!" pictures have shown. But then again...
