C.O.R.E. EX

Coming in November it's Kamen Rider H.G.C.O.R.E. EX, a totally new series that takes everything we love about H.G.C.O.R.E., and makes it better!

This 7-figure series will feature Den-O Sword Form, Den-O Fun Form, Rider 1, Haetori-Bachi, and all three generations of the Sea Dragons. The guys you probably don't recognized immediately are classic Shocker/Gelshocker monsters.

The main deal is these figures include dynamic scene-specific bases, and some cross-set compatibility. As I'll mention again in my C.O.R.E. Part 3 review, all the figures have holes in their feet, as if they were meant to fit on pegs... well, now we know why! The Zeronos from Part 3 can be stuck next to Den-O to make a neat little scene. I assume any of the other figures from Part 3 on will be able to work with this base system.

As for the EX figures themselves, they look pretty much in-line with what we've gotten so far. New classic Kaijin is always a good thing, and another Rider 1 (in spite of the fact that Part 1 did give us the Best. Rider. 1. Ever.) is neat. And it looks like he even includes an optional hand with the data capsule from the famous Shocker Rider storyline! And two Den-O versions round out the group, which means we'll probably see more Den-O's in a future set, if this turns out to not just be a one-time-only thing.
