Kamen Rider Ga-O (牙王, or "Fang King"), played by Watanabe Hiroyuki (I know him best from Ultraman Gaia, everyone else seems to know him from that GARO thing I haven't gotten around to watching yet.) At 51, he is the oldest actor to assume a Kamen Rider role, beating out Another Agito, who was 42.
As for the suit... well, I'll get used to it like always. For everyone else, let the "It looks cool" and "I H8TE IT!!!1!!!11!" comments commence.

Whoa.. 51?
ReplyDeleteWow, thats alot of teeth, but still cool
ReplyDeleteWtF? I thought the zipper was invented in the past 200 years?! Cool that he is the Fang King!
ReplyDeleteWell, compared to Den-O forms I think this rider will be much easier to get used to.
ReplyDeleteThose teeth parts in the armor kinda blew it away fo me...
ReplyDeleteAnd we still haven't seen an official Rider for the series.
Hmmm, has he been in other tokusatsu? That name rings a bell for me...
ReplyDeleteHe looks odd to be a rider.(Man I would like to see his train...maybe crocodile type)
ReplyDeleteI think his imajin are dinosaurs.
ReplyDeleteHe's Kouga's dad in Garo IIRC
ReplyDeleteGa-O sounds a lot like Garo... Hm.
ReplyDelete^^B'coz Garo means fanged wolf.
ReplyDeleteGeh. Why'd his helmet have to have teeth on his eyes? He looks like a crab's pincers are growing on him.
I think I am actually out of date in commenting... but Iga-san, I think you should see GARO. It could well be viewed IMHO as what you would expect Blade King Form be doing if he was as badass and brutal as Shin. Not for the kids definitely, but it looks so cool.
ReplyDeleteAnd Hiroyuki Watanabe wasn't just Kouga's dad: he was the previous GARO.
