Den-O Episode #10 "Hana, a Stormy Singularity Point"

And now the format that I think future Den-O episode reviews will follow, which is a brief run-down of the plot along with some finer details at the end. As soon as I get started, it's the Spoiler Warning!

Basically, everyone who isn't Ryôtarô doesn't trust the Kintaros-possessed Honjô, but our main man is convinced that (as always) there's more than meets the eye to the new Imagin, and they should proceed carefully. Hana strongly disagrees, but comes to a compromise with Ryôtarô, who asks Momotaros & Urataros to help with the investigation.

Hana & MomoRyôtarô find Honjô, but so does Rhino Imagin. Den-O Sword Form fights him off, but the big bad guy escapes. He chases after him and soon discovers that Kikuchi is on the other end of the contract. UraRyôtarô takes over and tries to find out what Kikuchi's wish was for.

Hana meets with Honjô, still possessed by Kintaros, who explains how he entered into a contract with the man only to fulfill his desire to continue Karate in spite of his illness. Hana cannot believe that there is an Imagin so noble.

Kikuchi's wish was to fight Honjô, something he never was able to do when the latter collapsed and Kikuchi won by default. Rhino Imagin twisted his words, beating up all the other competitors and finally knocking down Honjô so he could enter Kikuchi's past. Kintaros does the same, entering Honjô's body and infuriating Hana, who believes he tried to deceiver her earlier.

Ryôtarô and the crew go back in time, where Rhino Imagin has left Kikuchi's body on the day of the final match and is raising Hell. Kintaros also leaves Honjô, and saves both him and Kikuchi, shocking Hana. Ryôtarô goes to Sword Form and battles Rhino Imagin as an injured Kintaros begins to crumble away. In spite of her hatred for the Imagin (whose actions in the past destroyed the future she comes from) Hana doesn't want to see Kintaros die. Ryôtarô tells him to possess his body (much to Momotaros & Urataros' chagrin) and Den-O becomes Axe Form for the first time.

Axe Form destroys Rhino Imagin his with Dynamic Chop, but the monster goes out of control and grows into the giant GiganDeath Hell. Den-O summons both Den-Liner Gôka and Rekkô, Axe form's personalized train car, which destroy the giant beastie. Naomi & the others give Kintaros his proper name, the Owner acts weird for a bit (and lets slip that Hana herself is a Singularity Point) and finally we get a glimpse at KinRyôtarô, who like the possessed Honjô doesn't quite know his own strength.

What We Learned This Episode:

• Hana cannot stay in the same outfit for more than an hour.
• In the Riderverse, crime in Japan is up 4000%
• That crazy dude with the knife? Yeah, pretty sure he's dead.
• Kintaros' conception of Karate is in fact Sumo
• "Let's Bottom's Up!"
• If you get thrown through the air into a bench, don't worry, because the landing will be as soft as a pillow.
• Apparently there is no such thing as "collateral damage" where the Den-Liner is concerned.
• The Imagin not possessing Ryôtarô really do just sit in the Den-Liner drinking coffee all day. They must be totally wired.
• The Owner still desperately wants to be Riku 2.0
• Cryptic Dark Words puzzling you? Pudding will take care of that!
