Sôchaku Survive

Ryuki Survive & Knight Survive
Ryuki & Knight's clunk-a-licious upgrades finally see Sôchaku-Henshin incarnations in June 2007. They look to incorporate a few parts from the old R&M Survive figures, and who knows- we may even see their monsters get re-released in a two-pack.

One thing that is new though, is that Knight Survive's sword fits right into his guantlet, which is pretty cool, even if it's going to be huge on his arm.

As I said a while back, that pretty much finishes off all the Ryuki Sôchaku-Henshin figures, which in a way is sort of the end of an era. The "new" line of SH figures began with the release of Ryuki and Scissors, the latter of which was still one of the biggest toy surprises in recent memory. Of course, I love Scissors, so that might make me a little biased.

Coming up this week: the first of March's week-long looks into...well, the past. It's mostly old reviews getting their new blog facelifts, but as I do promise "new" stuff every day, they'll still be worth a look-see. Also, new KOTM, and more Sigma on the way soon.
